Saint-Julien-en-Saint-Alban enjoys a privileged location a stone's throw away from the A7 motorway, in the heart of the Ouvèze Valley. A cornerstone of Centre Ardèche, our village is known for the myriad events that take place here throughout the year and its tight-knit community fabric.

This amazing cycling hub recently opened a new mountain biking trial area, a favourite haunt of our local hero Nathan Charra, a medallist in the trial event at the last Urban Cycling World Championships. Visitors can also roam our vine-lined trails and discover our splendid Romanesque chapel, a listed Cluniac Site. The commercial sector has seen considerable development in our village, particularly since 2024, when the Cœur d’Ouvèze zone was inaugurated.

It brings together numerous shops —ranging from butchers and restaurants to greengrocers— as well as healthcare professionals —such as general practitioners, dentists and physiotherapists— and housing services. This project was honoured as the winner of the 2023 national competition organised by the French Chamber of Crafts and Trades in the "My town, my artisan" category. There will be a host of activities on 14 March, including concerts, a mountain biking trial demonstration and various contests, ensuring that visitors can enjoy a delightful day in our beautiful village. We look forward to welcoming you in great numbers.
